First Little Rambling

So, time to make a first post. Hmm...

I'm actually a bit tired. Yesterday was a very busy day, courtesy of a family wedding reception. I'm not too social and usually I don't know more than a couple people in a crowd so this time I felt pretty comfortable, (what with all the relatives there).

The reception was in Seattle. Seattle neighborhoods are usually very nice. In even dense neighborhoods, many of the yards still contain towering, archaic evergreen trees that were probably there long before most of the houses. Trees like that make neighborhoods much more pleasant and appealing.

How was that for a first post? My mind tends to ramble a bit I see but I'll still try to keep writing.

  1. Seattle is really a beautiful city, isn't it? It's a great place for walking, and the breeze from the Sound is so refreshing. I'll be there in about a week, and your post made me that much happier to be coming back. Thank you!

    Jo,
I would never try to challenge your rambling prowess. I suppose I'm glad you approve though... now it's your turn to make a blog

  4. Yes sir...
    With or without parental approval?
    Hmmmmm?
My mum is still thinking on, which takes a dreadfully long time...but if you want me to have it with parental approval, you had best sit tight, and not hide underneath your desk...
    :) teasing...

    You SUPPOSE!?
Who do you think you are?
    My approval means everything!!!!
    Sorta...
No NO, you ARE glad of my approval.. :)

  5. Alright, well, my excuse tolerance is running low so when your mother gives you approval, make on... and actually write in it regularly. I don't hide under my desk! (that's where matt sleeps)

Be good, otherwise I won't value your approval.

  6. I shall be extra good so that she will give it.
Of course I will write on it regularly...what do you think i am? Some lazy, clumsy, gracefully bledding ballerina!?
Well okay, i am one..but still...
Dont doubt until you see it..

    Im being very good...
At this present moment, so take what you can get, cause it might not always be there...

  7. Alright, I'll give you the benefit of doubting the prevalence of your worst traits.

I know it won't always... and almost never if I know you.

  8. Sigh..why do you know me so well...????

  9. You just lost your chance by thinking with your fingers, (it's the same principle as thinking out loud).

    Yes, good, I think...

  11. ah...
    sigh...

Pat..what do you think foxglove tastes like?
Do you think it would be any good in a pie?
A perhaps just a light sprinkle of it through a cakes's frosting...

  12. I'm not sure, I've always believed that it would taste bitter. Unfortunately, the smallest amount is lethal.

  13. Well...a little suger and salt...perhaps some milk, ooh and maybe some vanilla would cure that...
Those ingrediants could be used in a cake...
Dont get all concerned..I'm not baking you a pie..
Its for that other boy in Washington...
    Sigh...No not Matt either...
I've told you about this guy..he is the one we were going to go meet with a baseball bat, and you dog that eats dead things...

  14. oh right.... how 'bout a lemon meringue pie? i think the purple would compliment that nicely.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Yay!!!
Okay, you will be in charge of making the meringue...I'll make the filling...
Of course when you come you will have to bring a large supply of foxglove...
I would actually like to make this pie, not taste it, but make it...
Just to say I've made a foxglove pie...
Meringue is kind of a waste of eggs...
Maybe we should just make a crust and ill make the filling, and hep witht he crust...

  16. Don't you think it'd be dangerous if someone, (say your brother or Matt or Margaret), saw it before you told them what it was and took a bite?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Dangerous? yes..delightfully so...
Do I want to take that risk? Yes...
Fine you stay home, and I'll make it...
    All by meself...
    :(

Then you can come to the police station to piick me up for poisening my whole family, and explain my mental illness..
And ask then to lock me in a rubber room, and when they, you can live in peace forever with no worries whatsoever...

  18. Don't be difficult Joanie B., I'll help

I doubt I'd have to ask them and, if you're as evil as I think, you'll be a curse hovering over me all my life... you probably will anyway though, even if I don't commit you... "sigh"
